The Great Debate: Focus on connectivity

Brokers at the Future of Broking debate were told that if they have not got a digital strategy then they could face problems down the line. Aston Scott's Peter Blanc warned the delegates: "If you are going to be around in ten years and don't have a digital strategy you will be in trouble." Brokers were also told that brand, technology, and not seeking "nickels and dimes" are keys to success for the future of broking. The Zurich-sponsored event, which took place at The Grove in Hertfordshire, saw business expert Martin Gibbons, who won an award from Fortune for his work turning around Burger King, tell brokers that the future winners will be the "companies who connect" in his keynote speech.
