Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston) has partnered with Subaru of America (Cherry Hill, N.J.) on the Liberty Mutual RightTrack in-vehicle application, which offers real-time driving feedback and tips and reports that can result in premium discounts for eligible drivers. RightTrack will be available in 2016 Subaru models equipped with the SUBARU STARLINK In-Vehicle Technology, which offers Subaru drivers audio, information, entertainment and connected service features. STARLINK uses Clarion’s Smart Access cloud-based technology, connecting Subaru vehicles to a driver’s smartphone. Liberty Mutual notes that Subaru will be adding new services through STARLINK in the near future, such as severe weather alerts, accident scene assistance and roadside assistance directly to a ower’s connected vehicle.
