India: Xiaomi offers insurance and other financial services
Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker, is looking to provide the full spectrum of financial services across insurance, payments, and lending in India.
Mr Ashish Khandelwal, head of Xiaomi India Financial Services, said that Xiaomi has partnered with ICICI Lombard to curate a health insurance product. This was piloted in July, and will continue to be offered, reported The Economic Times.
