Blockchain, the technology underpinning cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, is now being adopted in Fintech areas such as Payments, Asset Management and Identity Management. There's increasing interest in seeing how the technology can be extended to include Personal Lines Insurance. So, is there an opportunity for Blockchain to be adopted in Commercial/Specialty Insurance? This is being proposed by a number of advocates and interest in the concept is growing.
