Australia’s Cover Genius said it raised A$15 million (US$10.8 million) in a new funding round led by high-growth software and AI-focused investor King River Capital.

The fundraise was supplemented by a loan from Leap Capital, the company said in a statement.

The funding announcement also comes after the company’s recent partnership with Shopee Thailand, which makes Cover Genius’ product and parcel insurance solutions available on the ecommerce platform.
