Aetna has entered a wellness partnership with Apple, combining the tech giant’s mobile products with an analytics-based wellness and care management program. Beginning this fall, the health insurer will make the Apple Watch available to select large employers and individual customers at discounted prices. Aetna will also provide Apple Watches to nearly 50,000 employees, who will participate in its wellness program, at no cost.
