Insurtech investment nears $1 billion in Q2
26 JUL 2017 | Funding from insurers, venture capitalists and other firms in the insurtech industry reached $985 million in the second quarter of 2017, according to Willis Towers Watson and CB Insights’ quarterly Insurtech Briefing. That’s up from $283 million last quarter and $398 million in the same period last year.
InsurTech Futures: CDL set to launch chatbot solution
25 JUL 2017 | New offering to help brokers interact with customers through digital channels. CDL has unveiled a new InsurTech development, which includes a conversational style chat interface. The software house stated that the solution, known as Jay, was “inspired by the chatbot revolution” and will enable customers to generate car and home insurance quotes through an interface on their mobile devices.
